Overview
Solar and EV charging belong together. A charging station is a large, predictable daytime load, and rooftop solar is a large, predictable daytime generator. Pairing them improves the economics of both and reduces exposure to commercial tariff increases.
We deliver rooftop solar on the same EPC basis as our EV work: one contract covering structural design, electrical design, approvals, supply, installation, testing and commissioning.

Everything below sits inside a single contract, with one party accountable for the outcome.
Roof & shadow assessment
Usable roof area, structural capacity, orientation, tilt, and shadow analysis across the day and across seasons. Shadow is the most commonly underestimated factor in rooftop yield.
System design
Panel and inverter selection, string design, mounting structure design, cable routing, earthing and lightning protection.
Net metering & approvals
DISCOM net-metering application, technical feasibility submission, and coordination through to meter installation.
Supply & installation
Mounting structure fabrication and erection, module installation, inverter and protection panel, DC and AC cabling, and earthing.
Testing & commissioning
String testing, insulation and earthing verification, inverter configuration, monitoring setup, and DISCOM joint inspection.
Monitoring & maintenance
Generation monitoring so underperformance is visible, plus cleaning and preventive maintenance schedules.

Frequently asked
How much roof area is needed?
Required area depends on the system size, module efficiency and how much of the roof is shadow-free and structurally usable. A roof assessment establishes the realistic usable area, which is almost always less than the total roof area once walkways, water tanks, lift rooms and shadow zones are excluded.
What is net metering?
Net metering lets you export surplus generation to the grid and offset it against what you import, so your bill reflects the net. It requires a DISCOM application and a bidirectional meter, both of which are inside our scope.
Does solar work during a power cut?
A standard grid-tied system shuts down during an outage — this is a safety requirement, so that power is not fed back onto lines that utility staff may be working on. If you need backup during outages, that needs a hybrid system with storage, which changes both the design and the cost.
Can rooftop solar power an EV charging station?
It can offset a substantial share of a charging station's daytime consumption, which is where the strongest economics are. Whether it can cover the full load depends on the charger mix, utilisation pattern and available roof area — it is a sizing question, not a yes/no one.
