EVCS Franchise
Own the asset and the revenue. We supply the technical and operational spine so you are not learning EV infrastructure from scratch.
Overview
A franchise suits someone who has a location, or access to one, and wants a clean-energy asset generating revenue — without becoming an EV charging specialist first.
You bring the site and the investment. We bring site evaluation, configuration, procurement, installation, commissioning, branding and ongoing operational support. The station operates under a recognised network rather than as an unbranded one-off, which materially affects utilisation.
What's included
Scope of work
Everything below sits inside a single contract, with one party accountable for the outcome.
Site evaluation
We assess whether a location can actually sustain a charging station — traffic patterns, visibility, dwell time, competing chargers nearby, available load and civil feasibility. A location that fails this stage is better known before investment, not after.
Configuration & investment plan
Charger mix and count matched to realistic utilisation for that specific site, with the capital requirement laid out line by line.
Full EPC execution
The complete EVCS EPC scope — design, approvals, procurement, civil, electrical, testing and commissioning.
Branding & network onboarding
Station branding, listing on charging discovery platforms, and payment integration so drivers can find and pay at the station.
Operations support
Operator training, preventive maintenance, fault response, and performance reporting so utilisation problems surface early.

Questions
Frequently asked
What does the franchisee provide, and what does EnerzyZone provide?
The franchisee provides the site (owned or on a secured long-term lease) and the capital investment. EnerzyZone provides site evaluation, technical design, approvals, equipment procurement, installation, commissioning, branding, network onboarding and operational support.
What makes a location viable for a charging station?
Four things in combination: enough passing or resident EV traffic, adequate dwell time for the charger type, available electrical load (or a feasible path to it), and physical access for vehicles to park and charge safely. A location can score well on visibility and still fail on load — which is why evaluation comes before commitment.
How long does a franchise site take to become operational?
It depends primarily on the DISCOM approval and load sanction timeline, which varies by location and by how much the existing connection needs to change. Civil and installation work is usually not the constraint. We give a site-specific view after the survey rather than a generic number.
Is financing available?
Yes — EV charging station loans are offered by several banks and NBFCs, and we can point you to the lenders we work with. See the Finance page for the current list.
